Co-presented by Creative Retirement, the Manitoba Conservatory of Music and Arts, and the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra.
Celebrate the timeless artistry of musicians whose brilliant virtuosity and profound humanity made them legends in their fields! Through audio recordings, concert and documentary films, Don Anderson examines the music-making and the personalities of pianist Arthur Rubinstein and Vladimir Horowitz, violinist Itzhak Perlman, cellist Jacqueline du Pre, tenor Luciano Pavarotti, and the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. Class members will have the opportunity to request their favourite Pavarotti CD recordings.
