General Information
At the Conservatory, we offer our students the opportunity to learn and develop skills with the guidance of highly-qualified instructors. Our primary goal is the musical and artistic development of our students. The Conservatory offers instruction for all levels and ages. Individual Instruction (one-on-one instruction) is available for virtually every instrument and voice.
The Conservatory Faculty are accredited with a minimum of a Bachelor of Music degree or equivalent. It is equally as important to have a qualified instructor at the beginning as it is at the advanced levels as it will ensure that the student will learn proper technique and will learn faster.
The Conservatory’s Student Services staff will work with you in the Faculty selection process. If you would like to take lessons with a specific faculty member, we would be more than happy to arrange lessons (depending on fit, scheduling and availability).
For more information on our faculty members please visit the Faculty page.
The regular academic year starts in September and runs until June. Most faculty members will take students any time throughout the year, depending on availability. Inter-Session runs in July and August. Beginning students generally start with a half hour lesson once a week. The average rate for individual lessons is $20 per half hour, $30 per 3/4 hour, and $40 per hour.
To allow for convenient lesson scheduling, the Conservatory hours are:

Friday and Saturday: 9:00 am 5:00 pm
Sunday: Closed
