Special Needs Camp
This camp is designed for students with special needs such as Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Asperger's Syndrome, Downs Syndrome, and FASD. Students will work with a fully qualified professional music therapist. Activities will include songs, games, arts & crafts which are designed to improve motor skills, balance and cognitive abilities.
July 12-16, 2010 - 9:30 am to 12:30 pm Instructor: Marcie Gerbrandt Pre-School Camp Explore music and creativity with the renowned Orff method. Students will participate in exploration of musical instruments, genres, and rhythym through a variety of activities including songs, creative movement and crafts.
July 19-23, 2010 - 9:30 am to 12:00 pm Instructor: Mary Kirkwood Elementary School Camp This full day summer camp is sure to keep your child entertained and educated. Children will participate in singing songs, exploring musical styles, composition and arts and crafts. Students will be engaged in musical activities for the morning, and will be taken on afternoon outings to various educational institutions (weather permitting).
